• The primary role of the Coordinator is to ensure that the most appropriate support worker attends and fulfils a requested service for a client to the standard required
Responsibilities

• Receive Requests For Service (RFS) from brokerage agencies and private clients
• Determine the availability of an appropriately qualified/experienced Support Worker for the requested service
• Respond to the RFS to secure the service (within three hours of receipt)
• Update the client management system with the RFS and Support Worker details and text or email the service details to the Support Worker as confirmation
• Maintain the accuracy, effectiveness and security of the client management system and hard copy filing system
• Ensure that Accounts receive the information they need to invoice clients and pay staff accurately
• Report to Case Workers on client well-being and progress on a regular basis
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur in the field, reporting these to the appropriate people and agencies as required
• Field and deal with complaints (either internal or external) to the mutual satisfaction of the parties involved
• Effectively manage Support Workers to ensure that they are realising their personal potential and receiving the support they need to be effective in their role
• Abide by and role model AAC guidelines and Code of Conduct at all times
• Participate in scheduled learning and development activities, staff meetings and other events that are arranged for AAC staff
